When we first pulled up, we were instantly blown away by the large immaculately manicured grounds with stunning long-distance views surrounding the property.
What was particularly impressive was the variation in designs and looks in different areas of the gardens, from a tropical theme to ponds and water features and a country garden all set amongst beautifully tendered lawns.
The large traditional built house, together with an amazing glazed extension, sits perfectly on the very large plot with loads of parking in front of the imposing front porch.
What’s great about this location property is that it has several annexed rooms and a cloakroom separate from the house so the cast and crew can keep clear of sets and filming. The spacious and contemporary interior, as you would expect, is really tastefully furnished and decorated.
The hosts Steve and Jen could not have been more welcoming and laid back with more than a dozen people milling about the place, they seemed genuinely pleased in having the shoot at their spectacular property and interested in what was taking place.
We were offered every facility during the day and even had couple of glasses of wine with the hosts whist watching the sun set. It’s hard to believe we were getting paid handsomely to be so well looked after by Steve and Jen and I know the rest of the crew and cast felt the same. I do so hope we get to film at this amazing location house again sometime very soon.
